The Pinecone Workshop Series was created to provide men and women the opportunity and the structure for deeper psychological awareness and meaning. Through myths, symbols, dreams, poetry and ritual, participants are guided to an awakening of imagination and fascination about their own lives and the deeper patterns of human relationships in which they take part. C.G. Jung referred to these patterns as being archetypal thus linking us to the roots of our ancient and inherited natures and unconscious mysteries. Through this endeavor the group can become a fertile unfolding of creative potential that contains timeless wisdom symbolized by the pinecone as an enduring seed of life's maifestations. The interactive dynamics of the group may evoke an emotional awakening for some and an emotional intensification for others. Participants can learn new ways to communicate with others and with oneself; can learn to become more accountable and responsible for their choices, behaviors and values; can learn to become more appreciative, tolerant and compassionate of each other's complexities and uniqueness while building a psychological community among themselves. These efforts may also impact one's broader role as a citizen in society.
